Board Director Stock Purchases

Directors see the board pack before the market sees the earnings release. Their open-market purchases are among the more closely watched Form 4 events.

How to read this: Some companies require directors to hold a minimum stake, which produces routine buying that carries less signal. Repeat purchases well above any minimum are more interesting.
